Application Qualifications
Freshman Applicants
Those who have foreign nationalities and who satisfy all of the following qualifications are eligible.

Those who have completed 12 years of regular education outside Japan or expect to complete such education before the end of March 2025.
※ Applicants attended in a local elementary school, junior high school or high school in Japan within 4 years will qualify for admission. However, it is not applicable if applicants graduate from a high school of Japan.

From among the "EJU" by JASSO, those who have taken the subjects specified by each faculty in the "Admissions Guide".
※ Language of examination must be “Japanese".
- Those who can demonstrate sufficient English language proficiency with the score of one of the followings : TOEFL iBT Test, TOEIC LISTENING AND READING TEST (TOEIC TEST) or IELTS (Academic Module).

Master's Program Professional Degree Program Integrated Doctoral Degree Program
Those who have foreign nationalities and completed 16 years of regular education outside Japan or expect to complete such education before enrollment in Doshisha University.
Doctoral Program Integrated Doctoral Degree Program (Third-Year Transfer)
Those who have foreign nationalities and certification for a master's degree or professional degree from an institution outside Japan or expect to receive it before enrollment in Doshisha University.
